Coming from a number of successful business names and companies, Zarcon was founded in 2012 to work in the imports and distribution of food & nutrition products. and within a short period of time the company reached high levels in the local market as an official distributor and wholesale center for a wide range of food products and brands.
Under the successful management and the fully dedicated teams of operations the company became one of the main suppliers in the food products market controlling a large portion of the market in all major cities across the country.
Zarcon started in a wholesale showroom and storage unit in the most active market location in Sana’a city and within a short period of time it expanded to reach different cities and a number of storage facilities in different locations. Within few years Zarcon established three major Hyper-Markets (Zad Hyper-Market, Joud Hyper-Market and Al-Eqtisadiah Market) to open a direct sales channel to consumers offering them a wide range of food products, home appliances, clothing and other products.
The continuous expansion and success of the company is a complimentary success to successful sister-companies working in the fields of acoustics & electronic wholesale (Atlas Trading Store), cement wholesale (AlRussi Stores) and construction & engineering (Kafa’at Construction Company).
